Wedding At Poulaphouca House

Charlene & John’s wedding was to take place in the Keadeen hotel kildare, but due to a Covid-19 lockdown in Kildare they were on the hunt for a new wedding venue. After going to visit various venues, they hit upon a little treasure just 5 mins drive from Blessington. Situated in the garden of Ireland on 36 acres of beautiful countryside this fabulous wedding venue has to be seen to be believed.

Poulaphouca house and falls had just been reopened after extensive renovation work. I was blown away with this wedding venue as it has just about everything you need for a country house wedding. Poulaphouca house will cater for your small intimate events, such as christenings and communions, but can also cater for the grandest of Irish weddings.

Charlene & John’s ceremony was held in the beautiful church in Two Mile House. On the way to the reception we decided to stop at Blessington lakes and Russborough house to take in the magnificent scenery. This decision was a no brainer as these wonderful photography locations are only 5 mins from Poulaphouca house.
