Kilshane House Wedding Photography

Kilshane House Wedding Photography.

This was the first time I covered a wedding in this Tipperary wedding venue. Driving from Co Kildare only took me a little over an hour as its straight down the M7 motorway. The forecast was very bad for the afternoon on this cold wet February day. Nothing unusual there, after all we live in Ireland. Kilshane House is a few hundred meters up a winding drive way and when it comes into view, it’s just stunning. It’s easy to see why Karen & Darragh chose this beautiful venue, no worries about bad forcast as It has its own massive conservatory. Perfect for winter weddings.

As everyone was staying at the house the night before the wedding day it meant I could cover both the bride and groom getting ready. Hopping between rooms insured I captured all the fun and laughter before everyone headed to the Bansha Church in the local village. After the ceremony the weather turned on us big time. It never stopped raining all afternoon and night. This would normally mean all photography was going to be indoors, I did say normally however;  Karen & Darragh were having none of it. They didn’t care, grabbing a few umbrellas we headed for the door. If they were up for it so was I.

Wedding photography can be very challenging in the winter, but with Karen & Darragh sense of fun and their relaxed approach to the weather I’m sure you will agree it was definitely worth grabbing the umbrellas.

Karen & Darragh thanks for the memories, a  day and a night I will long remember!
