Wedding At The Killashee

The Killashee Hotel is just outside Naas Co Kildare and is one of the most popular wedding venues in the country, it’s easy to see why. It’s a truly beautiful setting with a very interesting history as a school. The original house was constructed sometime in the 1700’s, and over the decades it has developed into a magnificent wedding venue and hotel. The Killashee has it all when it comes to weddings, the original house is the ideal setting for weddings with up to 80 guests and the more modern Thomson Suite caters for weddings with over 150 guests. The gardens are perfect for your wedding photography and if the Irish weather doesn’t play ball don’t worry as the interior is just stunning.

Mary & Basm’s Wedding

Mary & Basm’s intimate wedding was impacted by Covid-19. They had originally planned for their families to arrive from abroad but of course the pandemic threw a spanner in the works. They were joined by 35 of their closest friends and family, the rest would hop on zoom for the ceremony. Mary and Basm had an engagement session (see it here) a few weeks before the wedding and it helped them get use to being in front of the camera. The were so relaxed and were completely at ease being photographed. It was a magical day, the guests had an absolute ball. I cant wait to get back the the Killashee Hotel.
