The keadeen Hotel wedding:
The Keadeen hotel in Newbridge is a wedding venue that appears in my diary very frequently throughout the years. Although I’ve worked there over 50 times I always look forward to returning. I’ve gotten to know most of the wedding team there and in fact I’ve recently covered two of the wedding coordinator’s weddings.
Elaine and John’s day started with me meeting up with John and the lads at their newly built house in Kildare. There, I managed to capture their final preparations and the bit of crack that went along with it. From there, I headed to Elaine’s parents house to capture all the beauty and glamour of the ladies preparing for the day ahead. The atmosphere was amazing here with all the excitement. I’ve never seen such proud parents, you couldn’t wipe the smile off their faces.
We set off to the local church in Caragh, Co. Kildare for the ceremony, where John and his groomsmen were waiting patiently for Elaine and her dad to arrive. It was fantastic to see the couple enjoying the ceremony so much, this is were a great priest comes into play. We set off afterwards for Cooke’s of Caragh for a quick pint, then on to John’s parents beautiful country cottage to capture one or two images of John and Elaine using the cottage as a fantastic backdrop.
We arrived at the Keadeen at 4pm and were greeted by Joe and Tina with plenty of bubbly to kick off the celebrations.it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of Elaine and John’s perfect day. Thank you so much for having me.
