Castle Durrow Spring Wedding

A spring wedding in Castle Durrow, what a fabulous way to start off the wedding season. Jennifer and Niall booked this beautiful wedding venue to celebrate their marriage with family and close friends. My day started with Niall and his four groomsmen. A half an hour with the men is normally enough to capture the “getting ready” and finishing touches, and of course, the bit of banter.

A quick hop skip and a jump and I arrived with Jennifer and the ladies. That atmosphere was so relaxed everything seem to be in hand. I arrived an hour and a half before the ceremony and the wedding car and flowers were already there. By the way, check out that car!

The ceremony was held in Monasterevin church, a church that I have worked at quite a bit over the years.

From there it was about half an hours drive to Castle Durrow. A 15 minute walk around magnificent gardens was enough to catch some precious moments. Jennifer and Niall were so relaxed and this came across perfectly in the photography.
